Jericho, positioned next to Oxford’s canals and port meadow, is a place where the academic intersects with the spiritual, where the intellect blends with the heart. It represents the often lonely and singular experience of learning with that which is much more communal and creative. Located almost in the centre of Oxford, it is the neighborhood where you can find wild horses and houses painted in a myriad of colours, all built very close to each other.
At its centre, Jericho brings together: Learning. Intellect. Mind. Body. Spirit. Community. Creativity. And the freedom to think.
What is Jericho?
A four-day gathering around an annual theme that brings together visionary artists, scholars, and thinkers to share time, space, and ideas.
A multi-disciplinary approach to problems and ideas.
Days filled with lectures, panels, theatre, musical performances around a common theme.
Community.
